Bauch Family {New England Family Photographer}

I absolutely loved everything about this family session. It was so hard to pick my favorites, because there was so many! I love meeting a couple who I click with right away. The Bauch family is full of personality and they have such a great sense of humor, and little Marieclaire was so adorable. She is such an independent little lady. She would've rather gone exploring and what not instead of getting her picture taken. But I caught a few shots of her with her precious little smile. We literally laughed the entire time during the shoot. Robert and Katherine are such a sweet couple, they were very easy to work with. They were such naturals, and how gorgeous is Katherine! They had suggested a new location to me, and I jumped at it. I love finding new places. It ended up being another part of the minuteman park which was absolutely gorgeous and practically right behind their house! It had a ton of gorgeous light and a field with wildflowers! It was an absolute dream. Not only that but we had such great, cool weather after a week of extreme heat. We lucked out and had a perfect day.

Part 1: 1940's Editorial Styled Shoot {Boston Fashion Photographer}

This by far was one of my favorite styled sessions. It's sad to say it happened about three months ago and I am just getting the chance to blog about it now.
This 1940's styled shoot was put on by a lovely lady {Rachelle} from the P31 group. She set up the cutest little spots throughout her house for us to shoot in. Let me tell you it was a big house. Filled with natural light that was absolutely gorgeous. She had a knack for finding amazing vintage pieces that made each room so authentic for the 1940's. Books, typewriters, old photos, etc. and I love me some pretty little vintage things, that's for sure. There were four different ladies that modeled for us, and they didn't disappoint. They were all such naturals in front of the camera. It made it easy and comfortable for me to be able to be creative, and step outside of my comfort zone a little.

Sometimes you need a little spark to get the creative juices flowing again. This was one of those times for me. I was inspired so much with everything. The light, the clothes, the hair etc. I fell in love! {especially with that mustard yellow chair} These were some of my absolute favorite shots. But I couldn't just stop at one post, so this is just {part one} of this series. These photos are from the lovely Brianna. Don't worry there will be much more in this 1940's series. I can't wait to share it with you!

How gorgeous is Brianna? One of my favorite shots of all time!

Oh that chair!

{Family Portraits} Bos Family

My first family session of the season! I was so excited to be able to take pictures of this adorable family. Especially in the fall season, with its gorgeous colors and cozy clothes. Fall is definitely much better looking on the east coast. It has rich culture, history and tons of beautiful locations for photo ops. I drove around the area trying to scope out a perfect spot to take these pictures and came across the Lexington Reservoir. It has water, and trees, and color...Perfect! Then we went on to the Minuteman National park. The weather had been not so great the last week. Raining and dark all week long. Luckily we had some great moments with the sun poking out of the clouds to get some great photos.
This was the Bos family's first time taking these particular type of photos. I couldn't tell though. They were such naturals in front of the camera! Especially little Benton he was such a trooper! I love working with great families. It doesn't feel like work at all!

Isn't she gorgeous!

TICKLING!
