{Fitness} Samantha Bos Fitness

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing these fitness photos and headshots for my really good friend Samantha of Samantha Bos Fitness. She is a fellow military wife and we met almost two years ago. Her family was the first ones I photographed when I moved to Boston. We have stayed friends ever since. She moved last year to Virginia which isn't that from my parents house. Samantha is such an awesome lady. She's always got a smile on her face that's so contagious. She's always in a good mood. Which is just what you are looking for in a fitness coach. She is so much more than that though. She is so caring, compassionate and encouraging. She truly wants people to be healthy and happy. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

{Beauty Series} Classic Beauty

"A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness."
JOHN KEATS, Endymion

Introducing the first installment to my "Beauty Series".  This has been a project so special and dear to my heart. I'm finally able to share it with all of you. The word beauty means something entirely different to me. It's much more than skin deep. Beauty comes within. I wanted to photograph woman that are beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. Their inner beauty is mainly what inspired me most of all. Their heart, integrity, compassion and much more. That's what beauty really is. Beauty is not what is found in a makeup bottle, or the clothes you wear. But who you are on the inside.

{Mommy and Me} Boston Photographer

I have this awesome friend Jenny who I met through the Pursuit 31 group. She's been such a blessing to me for the last couple of months. She's got an amazing heart for God as well as her husband. They moved here from Oregon to help start a church in Boston. It's nice to have a friend to share a passion with. The passion for Photography. We get together every couple of weeks so she can take the photos for my personal blog. She's pretty amazing, an awesome talent. You can check out her photography at jennycourtneyphotography

For a little Mommy and Me session. We got together and did each others photos. So I finally got take pictures of her son Connor! Isn't he seriously the cutest. I just love his little chubby cheeks. He's always such a happy little boy. He gave me the most hilarious little faces. It was such a nice day too. Perfect for taking photos and we got to try out some new locations. It was a pretty awesome day!

{Beginnings Workshop} Photographers

I recently went to an awesome Photography workshop with the amazing Ashley Poisella of Ashley Therese Photography. The Beginnings workshop was for photographers who were just starting out in their business, or wanting to grow their business. So when I heard about this workshop through Ashley at our recent Pursuit 31 get together I jumped at this awesome opportunity. We met bright and early at the gorgeous Patterson Country Club in Fairfield, Ct. They had reserved a spacious room for us with big comfy couches and drink, and chocolate of course! I can't complain about being able to snack on chocolate all day long. We filled out our requests for lunch and made introductions. We went through so much valuable information. Choosing your ideal client, marketing, finances, goals, utilizing natural light and so much more. They encouraged to ask as many questions as we could think of. Which made it so intimate and comfortable. It was like we were all friends just sitting around talking about our passion for photography.
We had a fancy little Country club style lunch and then my favorite part. We got to photograph a couple who had never been photographed before. Ashley challenged us each to take turns with posing them and interacting with them. While she offered constructive criticism and encouragement. This was such an great opportunity to have. I came away from it learning so much, as well as being a part of a group now that encourages and supports each other. Check out Ashley's blog to read more about the workshop

Here are a few of my favorites from the Couples shoot
